Myself , and two of my employees brought our sons here for some lessons. The kids were hesitant at first , but the owner, Jim McNally is a truly wonderful person - and quite obviously a great teacher of boxing and training. He makes it fun. ( I personally love hearing his stories about training with former World Champs ) The kids loved it and look forward to going back every week. My wife is now a regular and somehow I found myself accidentally getting in to shape, too !
I have always wanted to try boxing lessons. At age 51, I finally tried it for the first time at Jim McNally’s gym. I have exercised my entire adult life and thought I was in reasonably good shape but Jim spent a lot of time with me bringing me to a whole different level. At the same time Jim whips you into a new level of condition, he is teaching you a very valuable skill. Jim is a great teacher and a patient man with an old dog like me trying to learn new tricks.
I was a little nervous prior to walking into the door of my first boxing gym. But I quickly learned that there is more comrade and good people in this gym that want to help you achieve your goal than any of the many other gyms I have been a member of. This is a great gym with great people and a lot of fun to go to. The boxing lessons become addictive. There is a great diversity of ages, types, skill levels and genders and all are welcomed.
