Very large menu...soup to nuts for choices. Love the homemade salad dressing....big salads with ur meal!
I guess enough people complained so they brought back the old front of house staff and the old recipes. Huge portions, reasonably priced for the amount of food. Best house salad dressing anywhere.
This place is the king of old-school, big portion Italian cuisine. It is a North Reading institution, frequented by townies and ex-townies, and is the most referenced landmark in town. Pizza, pasta is the defacto choice here, but the steak tips are great too. You're apt to share a plate with your dining partner, or order one yourself and take it home for a second meal.
Great wine list as well.
Large portions (almost everyone leaves with left-overs) great steaks- rivals any steak around, especially for the price. Great pizza, salad dressing is over the top. Best value on the menu is the combination dinner-- a sirloin steak- broiled haddock-a rack of bbq ribs and 4 pieces of fried chicken- comes with 2 sides for about $34.00. Two people can't finish it.
If you leave hungry..it is your own fault!! I loved the food, they serve huge portions. The hostess and wait staff were friendly. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time for the amount of people that were there. Would defiantly go back and recommend to others.
